B.B. King Festival Expands its Boundaries

Blues guitar legend B.B. King will hit the road again this summer with his Festival tour for the 12th straight year but this time around the sound will be expanding. In previous years the Festival was billed as the B.B. King Blues Music Festival but this year the “blues” has been dropped from the title. Confirmed acts include another guitar god – Jeff Beck plus jam bands Galactic and Mofro will open. Stevie Nicks says she misses Christine McVie in Fleetwood Mac, and calls the latest line up “a boy’s club.” McVie quit the band at the end of their comeback “The Dance” tour in 1998. The New Eagles Album

The Eagles released their last album of new material ‘The Long Run’ in 1979 and it looks like the follow up could finally be released this year. Billboard reports The Eagles are close to putting the finishing touches on the new CD. The word is the band wants to complete the project before the fall, and a new single titled “Hole in the World” could come out during the group’s upcoming tour.
